Music and Family
When thinking about my family and music I immediately thought of my mom to interview. She has always played different types of music around me and my sisters that has opened my eyes to many different genres. She is 50 years old and grew up in the 80's in South Florida. Me: What was your favorite music growing up and what were your favorite artists? Lynn: Punk rock and classic rock were my favorite genres and my favorite artists were The Sex Pistols, The Dead Milkmen, Violent Femmes, The Butthole Surfers, Anthrax, The Clash and pre Joshua Tree U2. Me: Where did you listen to music? Lynn: In my 1986 Ford Escort because I had a Pioneer sound system. I also listened to music in my parents station wagon, at work (Chicken Unlimited and Orange Julius), parties and on the beach. Me: Did your parents like the music you listened to?
